 | Starlight Childrens Foundation Australia Richardson & Wrench Bondi Beach are proud supporters of the Starlight Childrens Foundation Australia, an affiliation which is now over 12 years strong. Richardson & Wrench Bondi Beach participates in several fundraisers every year including the Sydney Bridge Run which raises funds for this great cause. Starlight programs are integral to the total care of seriously ill children and young people. While health professionals focus on treating the illness, Starlight is there to focus on the child – lifting their spirits, giving them an opportunity to laugh and play, building resilience and improving their wellbeing. |
 | Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club Richardson & Wrench Bondi Beach are proud sponsors of the Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club and have been supporters for many years. Keiran Speed being awarded the prestigious position of Life Member, and Jason Taylor a Long Service Member. Both have represented the club at all levels of competition including State and Australian Titles and held many committee positions. The Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club (Bondi Surf Club) is officially recognised as the oldest surf lifesaving club in the world. It is an Australian icon and holds an indelible position in Australian history. The Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club was established on the 21st February 1907 at the Royal Hotel Bondi Beach by a group of like-minded bathers. The club was responsible for introducing surf lifesaving to Australia and pioneered the famous surf reel and is responsable for saving many lives every summer in Bondi. |
 | The Bondi Board Riders There have been quite a few Board Riding Clubs in Bondi, but none as long lasting as The Bondi Board Riders, currently the only men’s short board club on the famous stretch. In many ways it is an amalgamation of the history of all Bondi’s board riding clubs. Today the club has seen a record number of members with many second generation surfers sharing a great day at the beach with their families. From the under 8’s to the over 50’s the club aims to teach ocean safety and competition with in a friendly environment holding monthly competitions. The club also has proudly rallied behind many local charities over the years. Ian Wallace has been involved with the club since he was a young boy, holds a record 6 times open champion, has represented the Bondi Board riders on a national level and is now the president of the club. The clubs mission statement is simple, “ We are run by the community for the community” and it is that reason Richardson is Wrench Bondi Beach is a very proud sponsor |
